Dr. Carla Ionescu is an ancient historian, author, and the founder of The Artemis Centre, where she explores the mythologies, rituals, and legacies of ancient goddesses. With over a decade of teaching experience at several Canadian universities, including York University, Dr. Ionescu is an expert in the history of Artemis, ancient goddess worship, and the cultural significance of sacred rituals. Her primary dissertation research focused on Artemis of Ephesus, a multifaceted goddess of hunting, wild animals, fertility, and protection, whose legacy spans ancient Greece, Rome, and beyond.
Dr. Ionescu is also the host of The Goddess Project, a popular podcast where she interviews experts on goddesses like Medusa, Cybele, and Artemis, unraveling the layers of history, symbolism, and their relevance to contemporary spirituality and women’s history. Through her podcast, Dr. Ionescu reaches a global audience, making ancient wisdom accessible to modern listeners.

Desirée Pais is the founder and CEO of BENSHEN.co, a global empowerment platform dedicated to helping women step into personal power, clarity, and purpose through community, embodied practices, and transformational teachings. She launched BENSHEN in 2019 out of a deep desire to make spirituality, wellness, and integrative wellbeing both accessible and practical.
Her work has helped thousands of women around the world build more meaningful, empowered, and embodied lives rooted in self-knowledge, spiritual connection, and community support.
