The Serpent and The Rose: The Sacred Path of Mary Magdalene with Desirée and Birjiwan

For centuries, Mary Magdalene has been remembered through fragments: disciple, mystic, beloved, apostle, saint. Yet beneath the layers of history, legend, and interpretation lies a deeper archetypal current: the path of initiation itself.

In this workshop, we will explore the symbolism of the Serpent and the Rose, two enduring symbols that have appeared throughout goddess traditions, Western mysticism, sacred art, and the evolving mythology surrounding Mary Magdalene. The serpent has long represented wisdom, renewal, feminine power, and spiritual awakening; the rose, devotion, beauty, revelation, and the unfolding of embodiment through the initiatory journey.

Tracing the journey from the shores of Provence, where legend tells us Mary Magdalene arrived by boat, to the hidden currents of mysticism and feminine initiation, we will explore the Magdalena not only as a historical figure, but as an archetype of the Initiated Woman. Drawing from mythology, Goddess traditions, Kundalini Yoga, deep meditation, and the sacred landscapes of Southern France, we will follow the red thread of the Magdalene path and uncover the hidden truths that lie dormant, waiting to be revealed.

Sacred Sensuality with Rebecca Moore

An invitation to return to the wisdom of the body and awaken the temple of the pelvis as a source of intuition, creativity, magnetism, and feminine power. In a world that teaches women to live from the mind, this workshop offers a pathway back to the intelligence of sensuality and embodied presence.

Through Kundalini kriya, Serpent Breath, embodied movement, ritual, and feminine energetics, we will explore sensuality as the innate capacity to feel deeply, receive fully, and inhabit ourselves more wholly.

Together, we will reconnect to the creative vitality and power that lives within the body, cultivating greater trust in our intuition, deeper connection to our desires, and a more intimate relationship with our own feminine nature. This is an exploration of feminine energy in its most instinctual, intuitive, and embodied form: a remembrance that the body is not separate from the sacred, it is the sacred.

The Magdalene Current with Morgan Vickery

An invitation to enter the current of the heart through the ancient practice of mantra, sacred sound, and devotional presence. Across spiritual traditions, the voice has long been understood as a bridge between the human and the divine, a pathway through which prayer, wisdom, and transformation move. Through breath, vibration, and sacred sound, we enter the current of the Naad, the subtle flow of consciousness that is carried through the voice.

As we explore the power of sound and chant together, we begin to soften the boundaries of the thinking mind and enter a deeper state of receptivity, intuition, and connection. Inspired by the devotional path of Mary Magdalene and the wisdom traditions of the Divine Feminine, this workshop invites us to explore the medicine of mantra and devotion as not something outside of us to seek, but a current already moving within us. A heart-opening journey into sacred sound, feminine mysticism, and the transformative powers of mantra.

Honoring the Rose with Amanda Edwards

A closing ritual of beauty, devotion, and remembrance through the medicine of Rose and sound. Revered across mystical traditions as a symbol of the Divine Feminine, the Rose has long been associated with the path of the heart, sacred love, and the mysteries of Mary Magdalene.

In the final workshop of our day together, we will explore the symbolism, mythology, and energetic presence of the Rose as a guide into deeper reverence, receptivity, and embodiment. A frequency among the highest of all living things, Rose has always been a keeper of beauty, devotion, and sensuality. As we enter the sacred rites in honor of Magdalene, the presence of the Rose activates a deep reverence for beauty. Through scent and sound, we will uncover together the mystery and myth of the Rose, arriving at the heart of the Magdalene teachings, and sealing what has been offered to us throughout the day.

This is a space to rest within the heart of the Magdalene current, to honor beauty as a spiritual practice, devotion as a path of transformation, and the wisdom that emerges when we slow down enough to listen. Together, we will close the circle, sealing the journey through the Serpent and the Rose and carrying its teachings into the body, the heart, and the soul.
