ABOUT MAYA

​​Maya Thakrar (she/her) is a meditation teacher passionate about helping people unlock profound insights into their inner and outer worlds. In 2019, she completed her meditation teacher training at Three Jewels NYC, where she discovered the transformative power of meditation for cultivating radical realizations.

Rooted in the teachings of Tibetan Buddhism, Maya’s practice emphasizes integrating these ancient principles into everyday life, turning the ordinary into the extraordinary. Since then Maya has continued to study the Geluk Tibetan Buddhist Lineage with over 1000 hours of dedicated study, including study retreats and solo silent retreats.

Maya thrives on bringing communities together through meditation, infusing her classes with innovative prompts and fresh topics to inspire self-discovery and connection.
