RITUAL • What are your daily inner + outer rituals to cultivate beauty and radiance?

My ritual is kind of crazy I guess, I use like 10 products…

Morning: I clean my face with a very gentle cotton pad and the fluid cleanser from Uriage. Then I spray the Hydrating Floral Essence from Tata Harper one day and the next day the Rose + Aloe Hydrosol from Benshen. Next, I apply my skin defensive serum from Joelle Ciocco. I apply the VIP02 serum from Biologique Recherché and my day cream Roséliane for anti-redness that I buy in France

Evening: I massage my face with the milk remover from Laroche Posay (no cotton pad, just hands) and then rinse with a lot of water. I calm my skin with the soothing lotion from Laroche Posay. Then I have my serum again from Biologique Recherché.One night I use my Oxelio Topique gel and one day I use oil (Benshen or aromatherapy). 


NOURISH • What are your staples for beauty + wellness + radiance?

I try to eat respectfully of my dosha, pitta-vata. So, warm food in the morning, like this alkaline gluten-free porridge that I love! I snack on raspberries during the day, so healthy! I avoid everything acidic for my body. Eggplant, soya, mustard, chicken, tomatoes…. and oh my god, orange juice. I love wine, never stronger alcohol. But good wine as I am so picky. Red is less acidic, so I stick to red. I love to eat for beauty, like blueberries to removes my dark circles. I am not vegan but I rarely eat meat and no processed food. I cook a lot and love to support farmers producers. My dream is to have an upstate house one day, in the forest, where I can grow my own vegetables and fruits. I have a strong connection to nature.


BODY • How do you keep your body healthy, strong, and powerful?

I am working on this, it’s new for me! I love Iyengar yoga and Thai boxing. It’s a good balance to calm myself and let my stress out ! I work so much and travel non-stop, which can be really hard on the body. I love to run in nature, which is something I miss when I am living in NYC. 

I meditate every morning to ground my energy as this job and the travels isn’t good for that. I am obsessed with using the healing tibetan bowl during meditation. It has a strong effect on me.

Meditation helps me reconnect with my body’s sensation. It tells me a lot about how I feel. Iyengar helps me ground myself and opened my heart a lot. Running in the forest or swim in the ocean helps me to feel my body in the nature. I feel very alive then. So for me, it’s all about balance and integrating everything. I had a difficult childhood and young-adult years, like all of us I guess ! And I do a sort of spiritual therapy that reunites body, spirit and mind. It’s amazing to see how your body can carry the wounds of your mind and heart. It’s been 5 years and it’s the best thing that happened to me.

I love to do infra red sauna, it cleanses so much, so deeply…I am obsessed with it.

As much as I can, I get an Ayurvedic massage at Pratima Spa .


MIND • How do you stay grounded, confident, and centered in this modern day craziness we call life?

Working in fashion, in beauty, traveling non-stop, never having the same day, week, month or year might be pretty unbalancing. In this craziness, I am able to have a very quiet life at home. My boyfriend and I love to look for new recipes, find the best farmers markets, come home and cook together. We don’t really go out, we go for hikes where we walk in the nature and talk about everything for hours. My work is so intense that at home, we like to relax and wind down together. It seems pretty simple, but it helps me appreciate the real and simple things in life. One day I’ll stop running like crazy on the planet for this job, I know it, that’s why I am okay with it now, because I know it’s not forever. I am young and super passionate, so it fits me. Fashion life isn’t my thing though. I am in this business so I can paint on and play with women faces. Colors and texture….that makes me happy and radiate!!


SPIRIT • BENSHEN means 'root of the spirit' - how do you root your spirit into your life, which in turn, keeps your body beautiful, healthy, and radiant?

I root my spirit through meditation every morning. I force myself to do it. I listen to my emotions, my body, my thoughts, and always to my instinct. I pay attention to my dreams at night. Alone time is a key to me too. And this therapy I have been doing, all of it together really roots me down and balances me. 

Doing something for others gives me good energy too. I have faith in life, so much faith. I try to let life do with me what it wants because I know it sees the bigger picture and I don’t always see it. But I always follows what my instinct tells me and know that life is guiding me towards that bigger picture. 

One day, someone told me to open my heart, and don’t close it when I feel I need to protect myself, because an open heart lets the best energy out of you and this energy, this openness, is the best protection you can get. Since I began doing this, people changed around me…I’ve changed. And I feel so much better.

Finally, I try to follow the 4 toltec rules :

- Your words must be perfect (words have a very strong impact and you and others)

- Never take anything personally

- Make no assumption (just ask clearly what you need, what you don’t understand, what you don’t know…don’t be afraid to ask)

- Always do your best in everything
