RITUAL • What are your daily inner + outer rituals to cultivate beauty and radiance?

Good sleep, rest, and quiet time lights my Flower Power.

I like to keep it simple and love everything of Earth.

I’m always open to trying other Green Beauty brands.  My gals over at Cap Beauty NYC just recently turned me on by adding May Lindstrom’s Honey Mud and In Fiore’s Toner to hydrate - boost – glow my skin, so thanks to Stephanie, I now combine Jiva’s Sundara Handsome or Beauty Face oil with The Honey Mud by mixing the two in my palm, gently massage my face and neck with warm water rinse then spritz all over with In Fiore’s Essence.  Skin nourishment heaven.

NOURISH • What are your staples for beauty + wellness + radiance?

WATER.  Lemon Water.  Beet Water.  Coconut Water.  Maple Water.

Sakara Life’s Beauty Water (Rose Water).

Antioxidant Super Foods. Every herb and spice from the globe.

My latest obsession is Sun Potion’s Anandamide. It’s a powerful blend for energy, digestion, nervous system, and immune building. I need a quick kick these days, and this combo works well with my schedule when I’m on the go.

Blueberries. Blackberries. Avocados, Kale and all that is leafy GREEN.

BODY • How do you keep your body healthy, strong, and powerful?

Yoga practice is my overall tester for strength endurance mentally, physically and spiritually.  I love to walk whether it’s in nature or in the city anywhere.

I love to soak in warm salt water and swim for pleasure.

I believe in the healing of bodywork (acupuncture and massage) on a monthly basis for our Well-Being, to remove blockage, and to clear Qi stagnation.

MIND • How do you stay grounded, confident, and centered in this modern day craziness we call life?

The power of the subconscious mind is the most powerful tool of all. Positive thinking is a daily exercise. And prayer.

I try to live fearlessly, and to believe that we have the ability to achieve all good things for a successful outcome. My best intentions are to always keep a healthy mind.

SPIRIT • BENSHEN means 'root of the spirit' - how do you root your spirit into your life, which in turn, keeps your body beautiful, healthy, and radiant?

To be grateful for each day.

To embrace the love in my life.

To share the love with my mother, family, and friends. 

To live a spiritual life.

To learn from Mother Earth.

To show respect to our elders, and Indigenous cultures.
